China's first tractor manufacturing factory is born on Nov 1, 1959

China's first tractor manufacturing factory passed inspection and was ready for service on Nov 1, 1959. It was the birthplace of the first tractor and the first military cross-country vehicle since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The factory is now an affiliated company of China National Machinery Industry Corporation Ltd and has evolved into the country's largest agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprise.

The J-20, the first China-developed new generation stealth fighter, debuted at the 11th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province on Nov 1, 2016.

Developed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd., the J-20 is a masterwork of China's modern air force.

A result of the rapid development of China's national defense, the fighter is one of the most advanced fifth generation fighters in the world.

China Communications Construction Company Limited signed an agreement to contract the East Coast Rail link project with Malaysia Rail Link Company on Nov 1, 2016.

The project, valued at about 55 billion Malaysian ringgit ($13.15 billion), was the largest under-construction overseas project a Chinese enterprise had ever contracted at that time and the largest individual program in the Belt and Road Initiative.
