Suzhou tram Line 2 opened for trial service on August 31, 2018.
The tramcars can be operated as fast as 35 kilometers per hour, taking only 30 minutes for one-way trip along the whole line, which is currently China's fastest tramline service.
Constructed by China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, the 18.463-kilometer Line 2 calls at 13 stations — 11 at ground level and two overhead.
The line contributes to public transportation from the Ecological Resort Area in the western Suzhou High-tech Zone and Suzhou Science and Technology Town to the Xutong area in the northern Suzhou High-tech Zone.
The world's first railway cable-stayed bridge for 350 km/h trains is completed on August 31, 2018
The two sides of the Ganjiang Grand Bridge, a part of the Nanchang-Ganzhou high-speed railway, were connected on August 31, 2018.
Constructed by China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, the total distance of the bridge is 2.156 kilometers.
It is the world's first cable-stayed railway bridge with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
In addition, it is a typical smart railway bridge built with standardization, informatization, intelligence and green construction technology reflecting a series of leading and advanced construction ideas and theories.
The bridge plays a significant role in improving the regional railway network and promoting revitalization in southern Jiangxi Province.
