CNBM and China National Materials Group Corporation reorganized on August 22, 2016

China National Building Materials Group Co., Ltd. (CNBM) and China National Materials Group Corporation were reorganized on August 22, 2016.

CNBM became the parent company after the restructuring, and China National Materials Group Corporation  was transferred to CNBM without compensation.  

Founded in 1984, CNBM engaged in four business sectors: industrial manufacturing, scientific research, complete sets of equipment and trade logistics.

China National Materials Group Corporation has three main businesses: non-metallic materials manufacturing, non-metallic materials technology and engineering, and non-metallic mining.

Through business restructuring, the two major groups can take advantage of each other's strengths and effectively improve their comprehensive competitiveness.
