SASAC will further promote central SOEs' strong support for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control in Macao and high-quality construction of public service, infrastructure and livelihood projects, as well as their efforts to participate in the development of Guangdong-Macao "intensive cooperation zone" in Hengqin.

Hao said SASAC will contribute more to support Macao in integrating into the overall situation of national development, maintaining prosperity and stability, and writing a new chapter in the successful practice of "one country, two systems".

Ho introduced Macao's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic and the central SOEs' involvement in Macao's economic and social development. He expressed gratitude to central SOEs for their efforts in combating the epidemic, developing the economy, and improving people's livelihoods in Macao.

He said he hopes that the Macao SAR can further strengthen exchanges and communication with SASAC, and welcomes more central SOEs to expand cooperation and deepen practical partnership with different kinds of enterprises in Macao.

He added that central SOEs are encouraged to increase participation in the intensive cooperation between Guangdong and Macao, helping Macao promote the moderately diversified economic development with new industries and firmly push forward the practice of the "one country, two systems" policy in Macao.
