The 12.34 km 10 kV submarine cable project from Miaozi Lake to Dongfu Mountain was successfully completed by State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) on August 20, 2017, completing power supply and internet connection between the mainland and Dongfu Mountain of Dongji Island, China's most eastern inhabited island.
