Ruili station in Yunnan Province, the first along the Myanmar-China Oil and Gas Pipeline on the Chinese border, passed inspection on July 31, 2013.
Built and operated by China National Petroleum Corporation, the project consisted of pipelines to transmit crude oil and natural gas.
The pipelines run across the Malacca Strait and play significant roles in guaranteeing energy security.
It is another important energy importing tunnel after the China-Kazakhstan crude oil pipeline, the China-Central Asia natural gas pipeline and the China-Russia oil pipeline.
The pipeline project, with Four countries — China, Myanmar, South Korea and India — and six parties investing and participating, was one of the first to be implemented in Myanmar under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Located at the state of Vitebsk, the station covers about eight hectares and delivers power to the states of Grodno, Vitebsk and Minsk.
One of the main components of Belarus' nuclear power program, the substation is significant to the country's energy security.
