Line 4, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, dubbed the "Rio Olympics' special subway", opened to traffic with CRRC Corporation Limited-made vehicles on July 30, 2016.

The subway line is the largest infrastructure project in Latin America of recent years and has a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

Its vehicles, six in a group, have Type-A stainless steel bodies.

The company was also the supplier for the city's Line 1 and 2 cars as well as 400 electric multiple units (EMUs). The vehicles shoulder about 60 percent of the transportation of the city.

First light rail transit in Indonesia's Palembang starts trial operation on July 30, 2018

The first light rail transit (LRT) in Indonesia's Palembang, expected to support transportation during the 2018 Asian Games, started trial operations on July 30, 2018.

Contracted by China Communications Construction Company Limited, the total distance of the line is 45 kilometers, connecting Palembang International Airport and Jakabaring Sports City with 13 stops.

It was also the company's first LRT project in Indonesia and has created nearly a thousand jobs for local people as well as relieved the city's traffic pressure.
