China National Coal Group Corporation is established on July 26, 1982

China National Coal Group Corporation, whose predecessor was China Coal Import and Export Corporation, was established on July 26, 1982.

The company has 55 coal mines and can produce a total of 285 million tons of coal, making it the second largest coal producer in China.

In addition, it has 30 coal cleaning plants and a coal preparation capacity of 245 million tons.

The company has been engaged in the coal and coke import and export trades for 30 years and has established complete logistics distribution centers and sales network.

So far, it has 41 wholly-owned subsidiaries, holding companies and branches as well as four overseas offices. It also holds shares in 11 other enterprises.

The Abuja-Kaduna railway in Nigeria, the first modern railway in Africa built to Chinese standards with Chinese technologies, opened to traffic on July 26, 2016.

The 286.5-kilometer railway has a designed speed of 150 kilometers per hour. It was contracted by China Railway Construction Corporation Limited and CRRC Corporation Limited was responsible for the vehicles.

Traveling time between Abuja and Kaduna has shortened from three hours to only one since the opening of the railway, promoting both travel and trade.

The railway contributes to national economic growth in Nigeria, promotes China's railway products "going global" and improves economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

China's bridge construction achieves docking within millimeter range on July 26, 2018

The continuous beam of the Hanjiang river bridge over the Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway, constructed by China Communications Construction Company Limited, was rotated to achieve precision docking within a one millimeter range on July 26, 2018.

The construction process, adopting high-precision measurement and robotic control, has created ball joint center positioning technology equipment and developed an intelligent visual monitoring system for the bridge turning process, narrowed down to the one millimeter range.

The successful rotation of the continuous beam over the Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway paved the way for the erection of the box girder of the Hanjiang river bridge of Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway, and also accumulated valuable experience for the construction of the same type of bridge in the future.
