The new regional jet of ARJ21-700, the first jet-propelled regional passenger aircraft independently developed by China, completed its maiden flight on June 28, 2016.

The success of the ARJ121's first flight made the start of the aircraft's flights from its base at Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province.

The ARJ21 was developed by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd (COMAC) and its operation was a milestone in the development of China's civil aircraft.

The aircraft was fully designed and developed by China and is equipped with brand-new operation mechanisms and management systems. Digitalized designs and manufacturing technologies were fully applied during its production.

China's first Type 055 guided-missile destroyer went into service on June 28, 2017, a new stage for China's development of destroyers.

Built by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), the destroyer is a new generation 10,000-ton destroyer completely developed by China.

Installed with new types of air defense, anti-missile, anti-ship and anti-submarine weapons, the ship has strong information perception, air defense and anti-missile and sea striking capacity.

During its construction, many key technologies including the overall design of large-scale naval vessels, information integration and final assembly were perfected and implemented.

The 055 Type destroyer is a symbolic vessel for the navy to realize strategic transformation. It plays a significant role in completing the structural system of navy armament and building a strong modern navy for China.

First list of the SOEs' industrial cultural heritage is released by SASAC on June 28, 2018

The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) released a list of the SOEs' industrial and cultural heritages and an album of the SOEs' historical and cultural heritages on June 28, 2018.

It was the first time SASAC has released such lists to the public.

The first 12 nuclear industrial and cultural heritages selected in the list are: the first uranium ore of China National Nuclear Corporation, China's first heavy-water reactor and the country's first accelerator, China Nuclear Town, China's first meritorious uranium mine, China's first nuclear weapon research and development base, China's first uranium enrichment plant, China's first uranium hydrometallurgy and refinery production line, China's first nuclear fuel component factory, China's first generation nuclear submarine research and development base, China's first man-made solar research facility, China's first production line of independent high-tech special materials and the first nuclear power station in the Chinese mainland.
