China Eastern Airlines' hybrid stock system takes off on June 19, 2017

A hybrid system of share holdings went into effect in China Eastern Airlines on June 19, 2017. The company became the first Chinese central SOE to apply the system.

It was also the first pilot implementation of that system implemented in China's civil aviation industry.

According to the deal, shares of the China Eastern Logistics were separated into six parts and held by China Eastern Airlines (45%), Legend Holdings (25%), GLP (10%), Deppon Express (5%), Greenland Group (5%) and core members of China Eastern Airlines Logistics (10%).
