The Norway offshore Fish Farm, which was the world's first and largest semi-submersible intelligent fish farm, was delivered on June 4, 2017.
Generally contracted by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, it was the first time China manufactured high-end equipment in the field of deep sea farming.
The fish farm is a modern automated offshore breeding platform integrating advanced cultivation technologies, modern farming concepts and a top world maritime engineering design.
Installed with more than 20,000 sensors of all types, the 69-meter tall facility can automatically monitor, feed and clean and hold 7,700 tons of weight against a grade 12 typhoon.
With the high-tech designs, more than 1.5 million fish can be cultivated at once with care from only seven workers.
