China's First Land Processing Terminal for Deep Water Natural Gas Goes into Operation on May 30, 2014

Zhuhai Gaolan Terminal, the first land processing terminal for deep water natural gas in China, went into service on May 30, 2014.

The terminal was designed and built by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and is operated by China National Offshore Oil Corporation.

It is also China's largest natural gas processing terminal with the most complicated and advanced devices. The terminal's propane recovery ratio and unit energy consumption have reached internationally leading levels and set records of eight indexes within China.

The operation of the terminal was a milestone in China's offshore oil and gas development.

The first synchronous ultra-low emission power plant in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region goes into operation on May 30, 2015

The 2×350MW co-generation unit of China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd. in Bohai New Area was completed and went into operation on May 30, 2015.

The project was designed by Power Construction Corporation of China and was the first synchronous ultra-low emission power plant in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Indexes of smoke, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions have all reached ultra clean emission standards.

The plant can simultaneously provides electricity and heating for civil and industrial use, which provides Bohai New Area with enough power supply and improves the regional environment by replacing heating boilers.

World's first application technical standard for industrial waste water treatment through electronic beam goes into effective on May 30, 2018

A guideline of dealing with waste water produced in the printing and paper industry through electronic beam technology went into effective on May 30, 2018.

The guideline was jointly developed by CGN Dasheng Electron Accelerator Technology Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Corporation, and Tsinghua University.

It was the first technical standard for industrial waste water treatment through an electronic beam system in the world and will promote mass application of that system for that purpose.
