May 22 marked the International Day for Biological Diversity. Central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) are showing that they care about animals while developing industries, and that human and animals share a common home – the Earth.
Euchiloglanis Davidi is a kind of catfish which is uniquely found in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. It is a small cola water fish inhabiting the rapids of mountain streams. In middle April this year, the baby fish of the Euchiloglanis Davidi cultivated by Yalong River Hydropower Development Co., Ltd (State Development & Investment Corp., Ltd.) had their one-year-old birthday. They are now as long as 8 to 10 centimeters and are in good health. Their birthday was proof that the company has mastered the key skills of breeding such fish. [Photo/sasac.gov.cn]
