A domestic intelligent control system of oil refining equipment is accepted and promoted on May 21, 2014

The ten-million ton intelligent control system of oil refining equipment manufactured by the China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) was accepted and promoted on May 21, 2014.

This China-developed major equipment ended the country's complete dependence on foreign control systems for ten-million ton refining projects.

The automated intelligent control system functions as the nerve center of key project operations.

For a long time, China's high-end intelligent control system in the petrochemical sector heavily relied on foreign-developed technologies, which was against the enterprises'  economic benefits and the nation's economic information security.

The successful development of the system confirmed domestic production capacity for intelligent control systems for major oil-refining projects.
