Hubei Huaqiang High-Tech Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China South Industries Group Co., Ltd. (CSGC), made a breakthrough in mask production amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
By the end of April, the company had produced 10.27 million standard masks including 5.61 million KN95 masks and 4.66 million disposable surgical masks.
In addition to domestic use, the company exported masks to support the global anti-pandemic fight.
By April 30, 1.32 million KN95 masks and 650,000 surgical masks produced by the company had been delivered to such countries as Spain, Canada, Germany, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Japan.
The company's first mask production line went into operation on March 2 and it now has 7.
Another 12 production lines are under construction and adjustment and are expected to be in operation soon.
It is predicted that daily production of the company will reach 1 million masks by May 15.
The company will continue to improve mask production in aspects of equipment, technology and technical skills to meet the mask demands not only inChinabut around the world as well.
