The Y-7 plane made its first passenger-carrying flight on April 29, 1986, the first China-developed aircraft to do so.
The successful flight marked the end of the period of relying on foreign airplanes for China's civil air passenger service.
The Y-7 was a multipurpose medium and short-range transport aircraft equipped with two 2,900-horsepower China-made turboprop engines.
Its total length was 23.7 meters and its wings span 29.2 meters. The 21.8-ton airplane could carry 48 to 52 passengers and also be used as cargo aircraft and a passenger and freight combination plane.

Xiongan Citizen Service Center opened on April 29, 2018.
The service center was invested, built and operated by China State Construction Engineering Corporation and was the first project to adopt the mode of joint investors which broke the traditional mode of "investors are free of construction and the constructors do not operate".
It was built from a block design, prefabricated construction, low-carbon materials and sponge city ideas.
