China XD Group Takes on Energy Storage Market

China XD Group Co., Ltd. recently signed an agreement to export 28 sets of energy storage containers to the United States-based General Electric Company, a signal that China XD is expanding in the energy storage field.

Developed by Xi'an XD High Voltage Apparatus Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China XD Group, it was the group's first system solution and core product into the energy storage and micro grid market.

The XD container and energy storage system was developed to both Chinese and US standards and meets market demands domestically and internationally.

With the rapid transformation of global energy, more and more wind and photovoltaic power as well as distributed power resources are connected to the grid.

Power storage has become a key to new energy power and to stabilization of the micro grid.

Electrochemical energy storage technology is one of the solutions and is used in the energy storage container.

The container is also installed with energy storage batteries, a battery management system, a temperature control system and a fire fighting system, which allows adjustment of voltage and frequency to improve utilization efficiency of the intermittent electricity and increase capacity on the users' side for emergency application.

Xi'an XD High Voltage Apparatus Co., Ltd. set up a goal to develop the world's leading smart electrical system solution in 2019 and has contributed to co-development of traditional and emerging industries.

Based on vehicle mobile, modular transformer substations, and direct current breakers and centered on the energy storage system, the company developed new markets and upgraded its products to provide users with reliable green energy service.

Relying on the design and layout of its micro grid and energy storage block as well as market and technology surveys, the company is focused on offering design, core equipment development and manufacturing integrated with maintenance service. It combines wind-solar power storage design and grid connection capacity.

Overseas application of the company's system is progressing.
