China Potevio in Full Swing for Anti-Pandemic Battle

A central SOE specialized in information communication technology (ICT), China Potevio has offered technical support to industries related to medical, telecommunications, traffic, power and catering during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

5G transmission plus smart medical data cloud to monitor temperature

A 5G dynamic temperature monitoring system, jointly developed by China Potevio and the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, was put into service on Jan 29.

With technology that integrates Potevio 5G transmission and a smart medical data cloud platform, the system is able to alert medical workers to examine patients with an abnormal temperature.

The system helps improve treatment efficiency and reduces contact time between medical workers and patients.

Smart platform supports joint pandemic prevention, control

A Potevio smart platform to prevent and control the pandemic has been adopted in government departments, enterprises, industrial parks and communities in such regions as Hunan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Henan provinces, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Beijing.

Managers can release pandemic-related notices and obtain real-time information and data through the platform.

Other users can also use the platform to submit their temperature, health condition and epidemic contact history.

Tips on disease prevention and diagnosis are also provided on the platform as are travel records and clinical information.

Potevio contributes to communication network guarantee for anti-pandemic battle

China Potevio participated in guarantee work of the on-site cloud conference system which was completed within 36 hours from Jan 26 to 27.

The company, as well as system operators, also offered technical support to help governments and hospitals send tips on pandemic prevention and control to the public.

In terms of inner communication equipment and network construction, China Potevio was responsible for renovation of communication devices in three COVID-19-dedicated hospitals in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, to ensure smooth network operation between Feb 13 and 19.

Information communication systems for power security, road traffic and rail transit were also monitored 24/7 during the outbreak.

Digital management platform, production lines guarantee material supply

China Potevio's digital management platform was used for emergency allocation of resources, making emergency plans and arranging human resources and vehicles to deliver smart phones, smart screens, 5G wireless routers and tablet computers in late January when Wuhan was locked down.

Potevio devoted to resumption of production

Potevio promotes information technology to help work from home and online office and provides services in technical development, talent training and industrial incubation to support digital economic development amid the pandemic.

A pandemic prevention and control platform was also developed to help resumption of work in Hunan province, which neighbors Hubei.

Such equipment as smart thermometers, fingerprint identification instruments and intelligent ultraviolet germicidal lamps were also developed to screen workers' temperatures, record attendance and disinfect offices.

The equipment can be used in large-scale sites with high people flows, such as airports, train stations, subways, office buildings, hospitals and workshops.
