Xinzhou-60 finished its trial flight on Mar 9, 2017
The home-made remote sensing aircraft Xinzhou-60, jointly researched by The Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd. and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, finished its trial flight on Mar 9, 2017. The trial flight marked a significant step forward in remote sensing aircraft development and has provided theoretical foundation and an improved direction for further research and development.
The Xinzhou-60, with independently-developed high-performance advanced remote sensing equipment, is expected to become the best of its kind in terms of flight performance, remote sensing equipment integration, observation efficiency and flight range.
