Moshikou Hydropower Station, China's first hydropower station to feature self-designed and manufactured remote measuring and control, started electricity transfer to Beijing on Mar 3, 1957.
Located on the division channel of the Yongding River in Beijing's Shijingshan district, Moshikou Hydropower Station was designed and constructed by the Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina), using all China-made equipment at the highest automated level at that time.
