A 660,000 kW Generator Unit of the Power Plant with the World's Largest Installed Capacity Goes into Operation on Feb 25, 2017

A 660,000 kW generator unit of the power plant with the world's largest installed capacity goes into operation on Feb 25, 2017

The No. 10 generator unit of the phase V Inner Mongolia Datang International Togtoh Power project passed a 168-hour trial operation on Feb 25.

It is one of the two domestically-made 660,000 kW ultra supercritical generator units of the expansion project of the phase V Togtoh power plant. 

With a total installed capacity of 6.72 million kW, the two units are the heart of the coal-fired power project with the largest capacity in the world.

A main national construction project, the plant is also a key part of China's western regions development and its West-to-East Power Transmission Project. 

Ten SOE reform pilot terms released on Feb 25, 2016

Ten SOE reform pilot terms were jointly released on Feb 25, 2016 by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

China Chengtong Holdings Group Ltd. and China Reform Holdings Corporation Ltd. were the two state-owned capital operation company pilots; other experimental central and local SOEs were later added.
