COSCO SHIPPING Group, the world's largest shipping enterprise, launched on Feb 18, 2016

China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited (COSCO SHIPPING Group), the world's largest shipping enterprise, was established in Shanghai on Feb 18, 2016.

A merger of China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (COSCO) and China Shipping (Group) Company (China Shipping), the company has a fleet of 1,294 vessels with a capacity of 101.29 million DWT, the largest in the world.

Its container fleet, with 503 vessels, has a capacity of 2.95 million TEU, third in the world.

In addition, the company has a 428-vessel dry bulk fleet with a capacity of 39.14 million DWT, a 188-vessel tanker fleet with a capacity of 24.3 million DWT and a 160-vessel fleet with a capacity of 4.35 million DWT, all ranking first globally.

The first super high seam coal mining machine with the world's highest mining height rolls off production line on Feb 18, 2018

The first 8.8 meter-high coal mining machine for super high seams, the world's tallest of its kind, rolled off the production line and passed inspection on Feb 18, 2018.

Developed by China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Corp (CCTEG), the machine greatly improved recovery ratio and production efficiency of super thick seams and laid a foundation for safe, high-efficient, green and unmanned smart exploitation of China's coal resources.
