A chartered carrier of China Eastern Air Holding Co. Ltd (China Eastern) landed in Wuhan, Hubei Province, at 19:42 on Feb 8, delivering 61 Hubei travelers from Bali Island, Indonesia, back home.
Under instruction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and the Civil Aviation Administration of China, it was the first chartered flight between Indonesia and Wuhan since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia and the third to bring back Hubei tourists from abroad.
It was the longest of China Eastern's such flights. Four pilots, eight cabin crew members and one maintenance individual were dispatched for the mission.
Also participating in the mission was a medical team from Nanfang Hospital, carrying relevant medical devices, emergency drugs and protective articles.
