China's first electric multiple unit (EMU) train exported toArgentinaarrived at the destination on Feb 10, 2014. It was the highest valued export project for China's EMU trains ever.

China CSR Corporation Limited (now merged with China CNR Corporation Limited into CRRC Corporation Limited) signed two agreements withArgentina, valued at nearly $1 billion, to supply 709 EMU trains in early 2013.

It was the largest export of the EMU trains in volume and accounted for about 93 percent ofArgentina's EMU imports that year.

Designed with Argentine cultural elements, the first train can operate as fast as 100 kilometers per hour and can carry as many as 310 passengers in each car.
