Emergency industry approved as main business of Xinxing Cathay International Group Co., Ltd on Feb 9, 2018

The emergency industry was approved as the main business of Xinxing Cathay International Group Co., Ltd on Feb 9, 2018, making the company the only central SOE with that industry as its main area of development.

An initiating unit of the China Emergency Response Alliance, Xinxing Cathay International Group Co., Ltd has full advantages in production, equipment, teams, layout and alliance. It played a significant role in emergency rescue and disaster relief following the earthquakes in Wenchuan in 2008 and Jiuzhaigou in 2017, both of which were in Southwest China's Sichuan  Province. It also undertook important tasks after the mudslide in Quzhou, Gansu Province in 2010, Beijing downpour in 2012 and the explosion in Tianjin in 2015.
