China Southern Devoted to Anti-Coronavirus Air Transportation

Medical support teams and materials were being transported on flights of China Southern Air Holding Company Ltd. (China Southern) by Jan 28.

According to the airline, about 1,100 members of medical teams from Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Chongqing have now arrived at Wuhan, Central China's Hubei Province, site of emergence of the novel coronavirus epidemic.

In addition to the chartered medical flights, a total of 47.7 tons of medical materials from New York and San Francisco in the United States as well as Tokyo in Japan were carried by China Southern.
