Total output of Northwest Oilfield exceeds 100 million tons on Jan 24, 2018
On Jan 24, 2018, the crude oil output of the Northwest Oilfield of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) reached 100 million tons, becoming the first marine carbonate rock-based oil reservoir with hundreds of millions of tons of crude output in China.
It was of great significance in improving recognition of the marine carbonate oil reservoir among the countr's oil and gas resources and in promoting the scale of marine oil and gas exploration and development in paleozoic sources.
Twenty-two years ago, the harvest of high-yielding industrial oil flow in the Northwest Oilfield ended the dearth of any large oil field in China's marine paleozoic field.
