China exports communication satellite to Europe for the first time on Jan 16, 2016

China put a communication satellite into orbit with a Long March 3B carrier rocket on Jan 16, 2016, for Belarus, the first time China had exported a communications satellite to Europe.

It was also the first space mission of China's 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20).

Primarily developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the communication satellite was the first in Belarus and a milestone of China's going global in that field.

The rocket carrier was also developed by the company.

"COSCO SHIPPING ARIES", the first 20,000 TEU with complete proprietary intellectual property rights in China, delivered to its buyer on Jan 16, 2018

"COSCO SHIPPING ARIES", the first 20,000 TEU with complete proprietary intellectual property rights in China, was delivered to its buyer on Jan 16, 2018.

Built by China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited, the vessel has the largest capacity and most advanced technologies ever made by then and was proof that the company mastered the technology to construct super-large-scale container ships.

Four hundred meters in length and 58.6 meters in width, the ship can carry as many as 197,000 tons of goods.
