A synthetic ammonia installation with 300,000-ton output capacity in Xiangfeng, Yunnan Province, the first of its kind of the China-Myanmar natural gas pipeline, succeeded in producing qualified liquid ammonia during its first trial operation on Jan 12.
With the latest and most advanced low-energy technological design, the project was contracted by China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation Ltd (CNCEC), and has been selected as one of the main provincial projects.
In addition, the project is expected to contribute greatly to the local economic development and be a demonstration project along the Belt and Road.
