C919, China's First Domestically Developed Large-Scale Passenger Airplane, Succeeds in Its Maiden Flight

China's first domestically developed passenger airplane, the C919, succeeded in its maiden flight on May 5, 2017.

Manufactured to the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the A large-scale jet ideal for civil use has proprietary intellectual property rights and capacity for 158 to 168 passengers and can navigate 4,075 to 5,555 kilometers.
