A total of 31,660 tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) was delivered on Dec 1 at the China National Offshore Oil Corporation(CNOOC)'s Dapeng LNG accepting station, a new daily record.
Temperature in Guangdong Province and Hong Kong fluctuate greatly as winter comes, leading to more demands for electricity and natural gas. Meanwhile, northern China also enters the heating season, which calls for more power supply.
The Dapeng LNG accepting station has kept supplying power to all regions and maintaining a safe and stable operation through measures such as stabilizing energy production, improving power transmission and cooperating with other facilities to obtain network load predictions and power consumption trends.
