CNPC Ready for CIIE

China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), a world-leading oil company, will take the opportunity presented by the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) to showcase its quality development.

The company will hold an international cooperative forum on petroleum and a signing ceremony for global procurement on the second day of the expo, which opened on Nov 5 in Shanghai.

The management of CNPC said the expo has been an important window and platform for the company in strengthening international business collaboration and demonstrating its well-established corporate image.

In the first CIIE last year, CNPC signed purchase contracts or agreements with 23 overseas suppliers from 12 countries by combining a forum on the consistent development of the oil and gas industries and a signing ceremony.

To stage an even better performance this year, the company reviewed its import procurement situation and at the end of 2018 actively organized its subsidiaries, related associations, and overseas partners to attend the expo.

Its subsidiary in Shanghai also set up a public service team in a filling station near the expo venue to provide free services to people in need, including maps, road guiding, suggestions for tourism and sightseeing and emergency gas delivery within three kilometers.
