Subsidiaries of China Huadian Corporation Ltd. (CHD) in Shanghai will be responsible for energy supply for the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) from Nov 5 to 10.
As the event draws near, CHD's affiliated enterprises will double-check all aspects to guarantee stable power supply, safe and green power generation and security and anti-terrorism measures, and develop a well-organized schedule for guarding and device maintenance.
The CIIE will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. So far 64 countries and three international organizations have confirmed their participation in the event.
In early September, CHD started the first stage of safeguarding power supply.
For example, a leadership group was established to guide related enterprises to make CIIE electric power security plans and special campaigns like security inspection and on-site supervision of electric facility construction were held.
Meanwhile, CHD's enterprises also strengthened cooperation with the local government, the CIIE Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) to jointly ensure network operation and maintenance as well as appropriate power supply methods.
All sides are also cooperating on special examinations for security, fire control and protection of equipment and internet information.
In addition, preparations for anti-terrorism and emergencies are being arranged in advance.
So far, CHD has undertaken five inspections at the energy stations and has tracked, managed and solved 46 problems related to regulations and emergencies.
The company will invite experts to watch the energy stations emergency exercises and give suggestions.
