The comprehensive pilot demonstration project of urban energy internet, which is located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, passed inspection by the Zhejiang Energy Bureau on Aug 29, becoming China's first urban energy internet demonstration project.
The project realizes 100 percent of connection for renewable energy and the interconnection of clean energy, an efficient power grid, low-carbon building, intelligent energy and green transportation.
It was one of the first Internet plus intelligent energy projects of the National Energy Administration in March 2017.
Based in Haining, the project is intended to improve infrastructure through construction of an urban energy internet and data information network, and develop a comprehensive energy service platform.
The platform provides clean, intelligent and efficient energy, electric vehicle support, and a balance of supply and demand.
It gathers energy demand data from various industries and households by analyzing users' electricity consumption with an intelligent electric energy meter in order to provide customized electricity charge diagnosis and energy efficiency assessment.
By using such a system to coordinate energy facilities, the energy efficiency of factories and buildings will be improved and energy resources more reasonably distributed. The urban comprehensive energy service platform solves the problem of isolated information islands and fulfills business data sharing and integration, providing green and convenient services for all kinds of users.
By providing energy internet planning, comprehensive energy service management and a systematic set of solutions, the project realizes the transformation from theoretical research to practical engineering application, which is significant to demonstration, popularization and application of an urban energy Internet system.
