OCT Group Provides New Opportunities for Cultural and Travel Industry in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), the "Embrace the New SOEs - 2019 Overseas Chinese City Group (OCT Group) Cultural Tourism Festival Special Experience in the Northern China" was held at Happy Valley Beijing on June 19. 

A deep review was made of the forthcoming five-stage "Shangri-La" project, the latest amusement project created by OCT North Group.

Energizing joy with innovation

In addition to presentation o f Yunnan-Tibetan culture and simulated Himalaya ecology areas, OCT Group's first cultural and recreational project in China demonstrates the group's innovative achievements in the past 13 years through seven cultural theme parks and more than 60 humanistic and ecological themed sites, over 50 amusement equipment projects, more than 20 theme games and business support projects, and nearly 100 theme performances are staged every day.

In addition, six theme festivals were held during the event, which met the cultural entertainment and leisure needs for people in Beijing.

Innovation driving development: Theme parks demonstrate OCT Group's innovation in supply side reform of the cultural and tourism industry

In May 2019, the Theme Entertainment Association (TEA) and AECOM jointly released the 2018 global theme park group ranking.

OCT Group continues to rank among the top four with a total of 49.35 million visits to its global theme park groups, which made it stood out from other Asian players in this field.  

To date, OCT Group's motto - "Quality life Creator" - has spread to more than 50 cities in China. The company has made "innovation" an element of China's cultural and recreational industry.

Northern China has a rich historical and cultural heritage and magnificent natural scenery.

OCT Group integrates and collaboratively allocates those resources on the premise of fully respecting the local history and human culture, building a development center for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The center will impact on the provincial capital cities and central cities in northern China, and will create opportunities for development of the cultural and travel industries in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration process.
