China Railway 14th Bureau Group

China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (CRCC14) is a large-scale construction enterprise under China Railway Construction Corporation supervised by the administration of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. CRCC14 is also a backbone and leading enterprise in the field of large-diameter shield tunnels, underwater shield tunnels, and urban rail transit.

China Railway 14th Bureau Group exercises control over 14 branch offices and subsidiary companies and 11 national regional operation headquarters that cover northeast, northwest, central, east and south China.

The group also has overseas regional production and operation organizations such as a Construction Branch Office in North Africa, as well as an overseas headquarters.

The group has established a leading position in the design and construction of plateau railways, high-speed railways, highways, bridges, tunnels, and urban rail transit.

The scope of business includes railway engineering, engineering construction, municipal engineering, real estate, material logistics, franchising, mineral resources, surveying and mapping, as well as foreign operations, and covers 31 provincial regions, the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions and 22 countries and regions around the world.

Ultra-large diameter shield construction technology is the core competency CRCC14 has been working on in recent years. The group has now established its leading position in building ultra-large diameter and underwater shield tunnels domestically.

The influential construction projects of CRCC14 include the Nanjing Yangtze River Tunnel; Shouxihu Tunnel in Yangzhou, the world's largest single-hole double layer tunnel; Xiamen Metro undersea tunnel, the first sea-crossing tunnel in China; the world's first extra-high pressure GIL integrated corridor crossing river tunnel; the Wangjing tunnel of Beijing Shenyang high-speed railway; the cross-river tunnel of Nanjing Metro Line 10; Lanzhou Metro Line 1; the Jinan cross-river tunnel and other shield tunnels. The projects have had great impact both at home and abroad.

There are 10 large shield engineering projects under construction at present, including the Qinghuayuan tunnel of Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, the Wangjing tunnel of the Beijing-Shenyang high-speed railway, the State Grid Sutong GIL integrated corridor crossing the Yangtze River tunnel, the Qiantang River Tunnel of Hangzhou, the Yuanjiang tunnel in Changde, the Wuhu cross-river tunnel, the Nanjing Jiajiang tunnel of the fifth bridge crossing Yangtze River of Nanjing, the Jinan cross-river tunnel, the Wuhan Heping Avenue railway and the Nanjing Yangtze River tunnel.
