China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (CQEC), a subsidiary of China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP), recently signed a contract with Turkish Electricity Distribution A.S. (TEDAS) for design of an ultra high-voltage and large capacity comprehensive laboratory project.
When completed, the project will be able to conduct various experiments such as research tests, routine tests, type tests and special tests on all kinds of power transmission and distribution products. It is a good example of win-win cooperation between China and Turkey.
The cooperation is also a milestone for CQEC in further optimization of its edge in engineering design, participation in international projects, promotion of its overseas businesses and provision of high-quality services for more and more international clients.
In recent years, CQEC has strived to expand its overseas market under the country's Belt and Road Initiative through infrastructure construction, energy conservation and environmental protection businesses in areas such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, Eastern Europe and Africa.
CQEC has achieved fruitful results and created a good image for central SOEs in the global market. The company has launched diversified businesses covering engineering design, general contracting, consultation and management on foreign aid projects and import and export trade in more than 50 countries and regions around the world.
