China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec)  announced the opening of its first overseas gas station in Singapore on Dec 18.

The new station, operated and managed by Sinopec (Hong Kong) Limited, provides Singapore's sophisticated customers with Sinopec's super-petrol SINO X Power. Besides having a smaller impact on environment, SINO X Power helps maintain engines and improves vehicle performace. The station sets a convenience store with a variety of quality products. Boasting an environmentally friendly design, and incorporating both Chinese and local Singaporean elements, the gas station make nearby residents' daily lives much convenient.

Committed to low-carbon development, Sinopec has been working to improve the quality of its products. All of them, including gasoline and diesel variants, now meet China VI emission standards, equivalent to those of the European Union. Some of its oil-quality indicators even exceed those standards.

The under-construction Bukit Timah Road Station in Singapore, Sinopec's second overseas gas station, is expected to open soon.
