Light of Internet Exposition shows high-tech advances

The Light of Internet Exposition, a prelude to the 5th World Internet Conference held from Nov 7 to 9, was held on Nov 6 at Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province. The expo attracted over 430 internet companies presenting their cutting-edge innovations in AI, Big Data and cloud computing. 

Central SOEs were an essential part of the World Internet Conference this year, bringing the event plenty of high-end advances. 

A world-leading communication network was created by the fifth generation mobile communication technology (5G), 5G related applications and the Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6). 

China Telecom presented its technologies of 5G livestream, cloud rendering, robots and remote-control excavators, which showed the potential of 5G in high speed transmission, high-definition videos (HD videos) and industrial control.

Always up to date, China Telecom exported 5,000Gbps of bandwidth and gave China's more than 170 cities access to gigabit, while serving 160 million broadband clients and 240 million 4G clients. Its internet of things links more than 90 million items. 

It's necessary for China Telecom to follow Ipv6 in the age of Internet of Beings. The company has totally digested the Ipv6 technologies and can now provide the widest and strongest internet for its clients.

China Unicom cooperated with Tencent to present 5G HD videos and with Huawei and Hikvision to show real-time monitoring services supported by 8K Ultra-HD. The technologies will be widely used in many fields such as remote real-time controlling and telehealth.
