MCC, once in serious debt, reborn

Updated: 2018-08-24

The company released its prefabricated construction products on Aug 17. Prefabricated construction allows major structures or components of a building to be made in factories and transported to a construction site for assembly, thereby saving time and reducing waste.

Prefabricated construction can save energy, reduce pollution, and improve the efficiency and quality of the building, said Yue Qingrui, chairman of MCC's Central Research Institute of Building and Construction.

MCC's profit in 2016 was 7.18 billion yuan but was 8.97 billion last year. The company said it would continue to focus on high technology and high-quality development.
