Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. (Sinochem Holdings) launched its first International Summer Camp on Aug 14 in Beijing, for children of the corporation's employees.
A total of 60 children of company employees from 10 countries, namely, China, the United States, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam, participated in the event, dressed in outfits with national characteristics.

During the event, children sang the song "Songs and Smiles" in Chinese together, gained a wonderful cultural exchange experience and friendship amidst the singing and laughter.
In addition, children of different ages, languages, and ethnicities teamed up to build distinctive and diverse national-themed booths. Historical performances, folk songs and dances, and traditional delicacies are available, providing children and guests with an immersive experience and demonstrating the unique charm of different cultures.

The event also featured an informal roundtable forum where both domestic and international Generation Z children engaged in deep conversations, sharing their positive expectations for the future, insights into their parents' professions, and personal feelings. They demonstrated respect for cultural differences, learned to tolerate and coexist, and promoted their own personal growth.
The 60 children participating in the summer camp are aged between nine and 14 years old. Their parents work at Sinochem Holdings' headquarters and its subsidiaries, including Syngenta Group, Adisseo Group, Elkem ASA, Krauss Maffei, Elix Polymers, and Sennics in Thailand.
These overseas subsidiaries of Sinochem Holdings demonstrated their leading products and technologies in seeds, plant protection, animal nutrition, new materials, and smart equipment. Children of overseas company employees served as guides, presenting the power of technology from the perspective of Generation Z and inspiring innovative thinking.

This international summer camp is scheduled for 14 days and consists of exploration courses in chemistry, agriculture, and environmental protection, as well as visits to learn about Chinese history and culture. The camp also provides training in martial arts, dance, vocal music and other hobbies.
A variety of activities of this event encourage children to make new friends, listen to new stories, learn new skills, and discover new things, allowing them to experience the charm of the Sinochem family.
