CRCC Contributes to Connectivity between Regions in Angola

Updated: 2020-10-19

Construction of the Cambundi Highway in Malanje in Angola was recently completed, which is expected to greatly promote regional economic and social development once operable.

Contracted by the Angolan branch of China Railway 20th Bureau Group Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), the 63.5-kilometer highway is a major section of the country's national artery EN160.

Upon completion, travel time between regions along the highway will be largely shortened and 100,000 residents in the affected areas will be benefited.

It's worth mentioning that during construction, nearly 500 jobs were provided to local people and CRCC also trained many engineering technicians.
