Genertec to Contribute to Bangladesh's Power Distribution Network

China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd (Genertec), on behalf of a Chinese consortium, recently signed an agreement with Bangladesh's Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) on contracting the 11kV power distribution network project in Dhaka, the country's capital.

Located in the downtown and surrounding area of Dhaka, the project has the most investment ever provided by the country's government and is of great concern to various departments.

The project includes construction and renovation of the 347-kilometer underground cable and the 11kV distribution network system in the area of DPDC's responsibility.

The capital's distribution network system will be upgraded when the project is completed, which will improve the appearance of the city and contribute to economic and social development in the region as well as improving people's lives.
