China Silk Corporation Ramps up Protection Material Production, Ethanol Transfer

China Silk Corporation, a subsidiary of China Poly Group Corporation Limited is now speeding up production of anti-epidemic protection materials.

The company said that its mask production line is expected to start operation in March with a daily production of about 300,000 masks.

Other subsidiaries are also contributing to the anti-virus battle.

According to the National Health Commission, 75 percent medical ethanol can effectively inactivate the virus.

A flagship domestic enterprise in the air-laid paper industry, China Silk Corporation's affiliate China Silk (Shanghai) New Material Technology Co., Ltd, has developed a medical air-laid wet tissue that contains 75 percent ethanol.

The product is also packed with aluminum foil to block light and prevent corrosion, making the wet tissue potent for as long as 24 months.

The wet tissue is expected to be on sale in early March and at that time its daily production should reach 50,000 to 80,000 pieces.

A main business of China National Silk Liaoning Chemical Logistics Co., Ltd. is to transport ethanol. During the outbreak of the epidemic, the company opened a green passage for that purpose and now moves more than 3,000 tons per day.
