CECEP Releases Its First ESG ERA Product to the World

An ESG product for Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) independently developed by China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) was released in France on Nov 14 local time.

It is the company's first such product and will be used to assess objective and quantitative environmental risk levels of Chinese listed companies, providing an efficient basis and a new perspective for analysis on Chinese capital market for international investors.

The current ERA database has contained environmental risk data of nearly 600 A-share listed enterprises with relatively large market value and high impact since 2015, and includes most of the mainstream index constituent stock and all constituent stocks of the CSI 300.
