MA600, China's new generation turboprop engine commuter aircraft, succeeds on its maiden flight on Oct 9, 2008

The MA600, China's new generation turboprop engine commuter aircraft, succeeded on its maiden flight on Oct 9, 2008.

It was the beginning of the aircraft's testing phase for air worthiness verification.

The MA600 was developed on the basis of the MA60. It has a more integrated avionic system, and improved structure, cabin environment and system maintenance, and is more comfortable and reliable than the earlier aircraft.

Yaogan 32-01 satellites are launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on Oct 9, 2018

Yaogan 32-01 satellites were put into orbit by a Long March 2C carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Northwest China's Gansu Province on Oct 9, 2018.

Primarily developed by China Spacesat Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Fifth Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the satellites are mainly used in electromagnetic environment detection and related technological research.

It was the 286th flight of the Long March carrier rocket.
