China Central SOEs Pavilion Debuts at CAETE

The First China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE) was held in Changsha, capital of Hunan province from June 27 to 29.

The China Central SOEs Pavilion, consisted of 12 Chinese central SOEs, was opened by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) to show Chinese central SOEs' technical skills, business capacity, brand images and economic and trade cooperation achievements with African countries.

Focused on innovation, development, responsibility and integration, the Pavilion was intended to express Chinese central SOEs' wish to join hands with African countries and to deepen economic and trade cooperation with them.

Various high technologies including 5G, smart accommodation, precise medical treatment and advanced manufacturing products like ultra-thin glass, large-scale shield tunneling machines and new types of electric locomotives were on display at the Pavilion and were exhibited through many forms such as pictures, videos, sand table models, real scenes and interactive experiences.

With its fancy and high-tech matters, the China Central SOEs Pavilion was the most popular booth at the event.

During the exhibition, the Chinese booth received more than 100,000 visits.

Also visiting the booth were political officials, ambassadors to China and senior managers of enterprises from over 30 countries and international organizations such as South Sudan, Chad, Mauritania, Zambia, Burkina Faso and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

They spoke highly of Chinese central SOEs' cooperation ideas, technical strengths and contributions to African countries' economic growth and livelihood development and expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation with these companies.
