The first large-size component for the middle part of the 10001 MA700 funicular test aircraft was completed and ready for delivery on May 29.
It was a milestone in the development of the aircraft.
The panel modules of the component were made through an advanced automatic drilling technique and the assembly procedures adopted a mechatronics system and digital measurement, which guaranteed a high-quality product.
The completion of the component means that the project has entered the stage of delivering main components which guarantees the entire MA700 test craft will be completed by the end of this year.
As a new generation turboprop engines commuter aircraft, the MA700 will serve in short-term feeder transportation that less than 800 kilometers in distance.
It has attracted many industries' attention because of its unique telex control technology, new aerodynamic design and excellent comprehensive performance.
The aircraft is under development by Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd and to date, 11 companies have signed contracts for 285 MA700 aircraft.
MA700 is a new type of MA series aircraft which has the world's most advanced plane manufacturing technique. It is intended to evolve into a new generation high performance product leading innovations in the turboprop engine commuter aircraft market.
