China, Italy Deepen Tourism Cooperation

The business group for travel service of China National Travel Service Group Corporation (CTS) signed a series of agreements with several regions in Italy on tourism strategic cooperation from March 21 to 24.

Being a part of the China-Italy cultural cooperation mechanism, CTS signed a series Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) of culture, tourism and commerce with the Sicilia, Puglia, Calabria, Basilicata, Umbria and Marche regions. Main agreements cover items such as marketing of tourism destinations, development of promotional tourism products and chartered airplane service.

The two sides are also working on in-depth travel plans to promote the two people's mutual understanding of culture and contribute to the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.
