The project on the industrialization of key techniques in high-speed train control systems, undertaken by China Railway Signal and Communication Corporation Limited (CRSC), has passed completion acceptance recently.

The acceptance confirms that China has made great breakthroughs in the industrialization of key techniques in that area.

The high-speed train control system, functioning as the trains' brain and neural center, is the key core equipment that makes sure trains depart on time and operate with safety and efficiency.

Beijing Railway Industry Co Ltd, subordinated to CRSC, launched the project in August 2015. After three years' construction, an upgrading platform for the industrialization of high-speed train control system equipment has been established, along with three industrialization bases in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, realizing the industrialization of all CTCS-2/3 equipment.

Based on the achievements of the project, CRSC independently researched and developed a totally independent high-speed control system and carried out trial practices and demonstration applications on the Datong-Xi'an high-speed passenger railway line and the Beijing-Shenyang high-speed passenger railway line.
